Edison, NJ, Thursday, December 10, 2020 – Eric Millard, Chief Commercial Officer of CS Energy, has been selected as NJBIZ Executive of the Year Finalist.
The NJBIZ Executive of the Year award is one of the most prestigious awards for leaders of dynamic, high-growth New Jersey companies. The award is part of the annual NJBIZ Business of the Year Awards program and recognizes companies and their leaders who are striving for excellence, growing and contributing significantly to the New Jersey business community. Following an open nomination process, a distinguished panel of independent judges from across the state carefully evaluated and scored nominees before selecting Eric as an award finalist.
CS Energy is an industry-leading engineering, procurement and construction energy firm that designs and builds optimized projects in the solar, storage and emerging energy industries. As CCO, Eric’s primary goal is to drive organizational growth by maintaining excellent customer relations and expanding CS Energy’s business into new markets and geographies. As a direct result of Eric’s tremendous ability to build relationships, CS Energy has grown exponentially, increasing annual sales from $75 million to $350 million in the past five years. Notably, more than half of CS Energy’s projects have been with repeat clients — a testament to Eric’s service mindset.
Beyond substantially increasing CS Energy’s national pipeline of projects and successfully building and maintaining long-term partnerships, Eric has also leveraged his expertise in team-building to increase company staff by 300%. As he guides CS Energy’s projects from development through completion, it is his lead-by-example mentality that has created a positive experience and encouraged the retention of both clients and employees. Significantly, CS Energy was named one of NJBIZ’s Best Places to Work in 2020, an award based exclusively on confidential employee feedback — further testament to Eric’s team-building expertise.
“I’m truly honored to have been selected as a finalist for this award, and to be recognized for my work building partnerships and leading a robust, growing team to deliver the highest quality solar and energy storage projects throughout the country,” Eric Millard shared. “Without such an incredible team and partners, we wouldn’t have been able to consistently achieve double-digit growth year over year, which has enabled us to substantially contribute to a rapid decarbonization of the electric grid.”
